Anti-Rubisco (Large Chain) Monoclonal Antibody(9Y6) Review

Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase oxygenase, normally shortened to RuBisCO, is the most abundant enzyme on Earth – and arguably one of the most important for life (at least as we know it!). It is the only net carboxylase that we know of – that is, the only enzyme capable of catalysing a net fixation of inorganic carbon into organic molecules in one step. This plays a central role in the process of photosynthesis, as it has since RuBisCO first evolved, about 3.6 billion years ago.Rubisco (Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase) catalyzes the rate-limiting step of CO2 fixation in photosynthetic organisms. It is demonstrably homologous from purple bacteria to flowering plants and consists of two protein subunits, each present in 8 copies. In plants and green algae, the large subunit (~55 kDa) is coded by the chloroplast rbcL gene, and the small subunit (15 kDa) is coded by a family of nuclear rbcS genes.

Anti-Rubisco (Large Chain) Monoclonal Antibody(9Y6)Anti-Rubisco (Large Chain) Monoclonal Antibody(9Y6) Review was affinity-purified from mouse ascites by affinity-chromatography using specific immunogen, with reactivity Plants. This antibody has been tested with WB applications. And Abbkine suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:2000-5000.

Commonly used antibody such as GAPDH, Beta-Actin and Tubulin are generally used as reference of animal cells. As for Plants protein, Anti-Rubisco Antibody and Quantitative selection of appropriate Plant internal antibody are needed. We always have faith in the quality of Abbkine's products. Anti-Rubisco (Large Chain) Monoclonal Antibody(9Y6) was, all in all, a satisfactory outcome.
